At Choices Supported Living Services (CSLS), we focus on creating a nurturing and supportive environment tailored for young people aged 16-18. Our commitment is to empower these young individuals to thrive and successfully transition into independent living. By focusing on fostering personal growth, honing essential life skills, and providing guidance tailored to each individual’s unique needs, we aim to equip them with the necessary tools for a brighter future.
Our range of services includes crisis accommodation placements, transitional housing, and developing independence housing, all designed to meet the varied needs of young people. The properties we manage are situated in safe, accessible neighbourhoods, ensuring proximity to essential services, schools, and public transport. Each placement offers private bedrooms, communal living spaces, fully equipped kitchens, and common areas for social interactions, providing a balanced mix of privacy and community.
CSLS places a strong emphasis on collaboration with Local Authorities, the police, health providers, schools, and colleges. This collaborative approach ensures that every young person receives comprehensive support and advocacy. In line with the Working Together to Safeguard Children and Young People Guidelines (2016), we uphold stringent safeguarding principles to protect the welfare of our residents.
Our team of trained staff works under the guidance of relevant professionals to encourage young people to reach their full potential. This holistic support structure is designed to cater to the diverse range of needs that our residents may have, from learning disabilities and mental health problems to gang affiliations and vulnerabilities to exploitation. We also provide support for young people with Special Educational Needs and Educational Health Care Plans (EHCPs).
